PBS, You've Done It Again.

http://lifesupportmusic.org

I ran into another amazing documentary and was left just sobbing with Liam by my side trying to console me. Kudos to the filmmaker for a well put together film.

To quote from the synopsis off pbs.org:

"In 2004, Jason Crigler's life was taking off. He was one of New York's hottest young guitarists, his new CD was due for release and his wife, Monica, was pregnant with their first child. Then, at a gig in Manhattan, Jason suffered a near-fatal brain hemorrhage. His doctors doubted he would ever emerge from his near-vegetative state. The astonishing journey that followed, documented by friend and filmmaker Eric Daniel Metzgar (The Chances of the World Changing, POV 2007), is a stirring family saga and a portrait of creative struggle in the face of overwhelming tragedy."

Watch Life. Support. Music. if you get a chance. It's so good!

Shameless Pt.2

I came upon this lovely pose the other morning along with the loud chant: "Thunder... Thunder... Thunder... ThunderCats... Ho!" (This kid's new Incredible Hulk undies gives him courage like you wouldn't believe.)

Kids do funny stuff like this all the time. Luckily for me my camera was nearby. Not so lucky for him: this series of documentations I've started solely for humiliation purposes.

Higgtastic News

In tonight's blog news we start off on a good note: After passing both difficult exams Dr. Higginbotham is now finished with school and licensed.

NO MORE STUDYING!!!!!!! YEAH!!

This picture was taken of an adorable boy playing at a nearby park. Sources say this handsome little dimple darling was found grinning and smiling to all the local park goers without expecting anything in return.

The boy has now been nicknamed "Smiles" by local neighbors and residents. What a kid.

The weather has been raining every day for at least the last 2 1/2 weeks, so we're feeling a little soggy up here. We can't complain though; it has been so cool and that cloud cover has been amazing.

After days of trying to convince her 3 year old son Liam that visiting the dentist was fun, a local mom got her wish; a baby moose was found wondering right in front of her local dentist's office. "It was like a gift sent from heaven, " she said. (Only here do you see a moose wondering in front of your dentist's office.)
