Snowman Recipe

Here's a tutorial for the snowman cookies:

This is a good sugar cookie recipe:

Some people use "royal frosting" with egg whites and such to get the right glaze, but that doesn't really have a taste. Here's a frosting recipe that will give you a like effect:

Powdered Sugar Glaze
Recipe source: cartzine.com

This frosting will harden upon standing, giving cookies a glazed surface.

Ingredients:
2½ cups powdered sugar
3 Tbsp milk
2 Tbsp butter, softened
½ tsp almond extract (optional)
Food coloring optional
I added cream cheese cause I needed to use some up

Beat until smooth and add more milk if you'd like.

P.S. If you're looking for a good dinner idea, try these. And use this bbq sauce. It's awesome!

Once There Was A Snowman

The sunshine was feeling awesome today, so we celebrated by taking it out on Mr. Frosty himself:
Eat that Mr. Tall Tall Tall.

Spring-Loaded

We went to visit a wildlife refuge park today, and the first thing the boys did was pick up toy stick guns.
Their immediate response to seeing a woodpecker or goose was a natural surprise or awe.
Their next response, almost as instantaneous, was a rat-tat-tat from their wooden guns.
Genuine excitement from a little boy who has been looking forward to spring for so long.

Alluring Earrings

Check out these awesome earrings Myla made for me. I'm going to wear them when I go out fishing with Tan:

Don't worry, they're not reel.

Can't wait to pull off the red earrings. I'll have to dress up when I wear those guys. You can wear skirts in nature. (Yeah, you know what I'm talking about. It's skort time.)
