The Blackfoot River

I knew Halloween this year was going to be good when I came home with 2 yards of bright green dance spandex from the fabric store. 

Near our house live some horses in a field. River loves to visit them and make neighing sounds. After making this big head piece I wondered if she would even put it on. Once she associated it with her friends, she was good to go.

St. Louis cont.

When Tanner was little his Dad would tell him the St. Louis arch was covered in silver gum wrappers. Our real motive to visiting the Arch was to debunk this story. Success!

Our visit to Missouri was right when the World Series games were happening in St. Louis. We had so much fun being with Ben and Natalie and then relaxing and watching the games at night. This city is proud of their cardinals!

Me and my honey were able to make a trip to St. Louis to visit some good friends and Tanner's old stompin ground. I have never been to this area and was amazed at how beautiful it was.

The first night we arrived we went downtown to the City Museum. It is completely crazy and we had so much fun. There were all these slides everywhere and places to climb throughout the whole place. We probably went down like 50 slides (or maybe 10). We took a bunch of video and pictures to show the kids when we got back. I know they would have loved it.

The next day we traveled an hour to beautiful Farmington Missouri where Tanner grew up. This was Tanner's home until the 12th grade when he moved to Utah.

The neighborhoods in Farmington are the best. I was ready to move to Farmington by the end of the day!

 

 Near Farmington is Elephant Rocks State Park. Totally amazing. There were no elephants here, but there was this really tall visitor that could leap like Spider-Man across the rocks!
