I Feed My Kid Cream

As some of you devoted blog readers may recall, I made a claim that I feed Liam some hearty milk. Here are two bottles of breastmilk- one from my friend, and the other from me. They were left in the fridge a few hours so you can see the cream that has gathered on top. Liam is now almost 18 pounds... any guesses which one is from me?

Liam's Favorite Past-time

There are a few things Liam loves to do. Sticking his chubby fingers in his mouth and acting cute is one of them.

He also loves to stick out his tongue.

Combine sticking out his tongue with swinging and you really have a winning combo!

Liam also loves hanging out with his best bud Elliot. He always tries to make the best out of his not-so-favorite game of doctor. Sigh... In a couple of months (and maybe even by tomorrow) they will be but favorite past-times.

Holy Hot!!!

That's what you get when you combine a wedding with the hottest day of the year. The south had me sweating bullets down my face- something I had never felt before without some kind of physical work-out.

Even my nephew Seth was found chugging one of the last bottled water in desperation to cool off.

Liam spent time with his two cousins.

He brought his chubbs to the wedding too.

Family Vacation 2006

In picture: Care Bear, Mama Bear, Sasha, Big Mama, and Superman.

This was my favorite part of the trip. I insisted that we keep re-shooting until the lighting was perfect.

If you look closely, you can see Liam riding the top of that gyser.

Of all the green pastures, glistening and flowing rivers, rocky tops, and roaring, towering falls, Carrie' s beautiful eyes were my favorite attraction in Yellowstone.

Because we focused most of our efforts on keeping Liam from those goring buffalo, the Sun God had a chance to sneak up behind us and slap a big faceburn on this boy.

Summer Times (An Update)

Summer is our favorite time of the year. And why wouldn't it be? The weather's great, there's much to do, and new happenings and exciting news occur every week (at least at our house it does). Here are some pictures and updates of our summer happenings thus far.

Tanner, Liam, and I spent some time hiking in Park City. We had a great time seeing all our family at the reunion my grandparents threw. Not pictured are my blistery, dirty feet that happened as a result of hiking the woods in flip flops. Note: bring shoes on every trip.

My sister Mary and her fiance Rob decide to tie the knot (yeah!!). Here they are standing by the lot they plan to buy for their new house. They get married July 28th.

Not so happy Liam gets blessed. It was snowing that day-Yeeesh!

Tanner's Dad retires this year after 30+ years of work and service with the United States Forest Service. We love you Dad!

My brother Adam and his family start Law school. Their son Michael was also born this summer!

William Samuel Grimshaw (My twin sister's kid) is born June 4th. Now Liam has two cousins that are only a couple of months older and younger than him. Dani, who is 2, loves to check on her younger brother. "He's still sleeping," she says.

July 4th 1969- I mean 2006. Liam and Hana refuse to be with the norm as they sport their groovy looks.

Not really a summer picture, but cute nonetheless.
