He Can Waddle!

And while Julian kept waddling towards that dog...

Liam kept his distance and stayed with the more safe and nice fowl.

What would be a roaring river in Utah or Southern Nevada is deemed a creek up in Idaho! This area was so much fun to camp, hike and fish and is absolutely beautiful.

The camp ground we stayed at has a 7 mile trail that follows the Creek for miles of beautiful hiking to the upper lake. It was perfect for us; Tanner would hike a bit with us, then hop into the river and fish, then hop back out and hike some more.

Tanner's hot- even in fishing waders pulled up to his ribs!

I loved seeing Tanner in his element and having such a good time. He kept snatching up fish and within 20 minutes he had already caught 5.

Although freezing at night, Liam only woke up once. The reason: to inform his dad that he loves to camp.

Tanner tried to prove his manliness by stomaching this badly charred food we overcooked. Good thing he's used to my bad cooking!

Summer Happs

Anyone can be all smiles in the middle of a hot State Park as long as a drumstick's in your hand.

Liam doesn't stop running at the petting zoo. We love visiting this place in the summer.

The baby horse we were lucky to see at only 3 days old.

Julian loved seeing the animals and would bark at each one. (Including this colorful horse with bars coming out of its head!)

That's Messy

Julian takes pride (as does every other 1 yr old kid) with food artwork. I really can't complain. I've heard of moms cleaning poop off their walls for 4 hours or watching their kid poor honey down his chest and hair (you ladies know who you are!)

Julian was messy during the first part of the week. Here's what happened the last 6 days:

Mess#1

Our car got in a messy wreck.

Mess#2

I was a mess after the wreck (tears were flying!) Sorry, no pics.

Mess#3

Our beloved Mac crashed after a measly 2 anos. "Looks like you need more RAM and/or a new computer," said the nerd at the Mac store.

Mess#4

The face of Tan's cd player got stolen from a bunch of jokers while he was fishing. The actual cd player is still sitting in the car along with the lonely cd's that all got skipped over for some reason.

Mess#5

Julian's 5 molars/canines came pushing through all at the same time and consequently he got an infection in his faithful left thumb from trying to sooth from the pain of his teeth!

I felt the worst when Jules woke up in the morning with his little thumb so swollen and infected, so in retrospect things really weren't too bad. I just think the timing on it all was awesome.

I ran into another amazing documentary and was left just sobbing with Liam by my side trying to console me. Kudos to the filmmaker for a well put together film.
