Blessed

After a long hard pregnancy, my sister Katie had a beautiful baby girl. We were able to be there for the blessing, and baby Megan was perfect.
River was upset that Tanner put her down. She absolutely adores him.

My sweet grandparents, David and Mary.
Cuddling newborns is my thing. So is having adorable nieces. Until next time baby Megs...

The Fish Grab

Fish•grab (noun) 1. A Richfield tradition held on the 4th where a large wading area is set up. A nice man then comes with a truckload of fish and dumps them all in and lets the kids go crazy. Typically everyone has the best time.
This pic is taken right before the mahem begins. I believe  Richfield has the world record for the most kids being patient at one time.
Go!!

Julian loved finding his fish and pulling it out of the water with his bare hands.
Liam didn't catch a fish. Turns out he felt really really bad about all the fish suffocating and such (we're a catch and release family only :) Still, good times!

Sew Stylin

I had a few hours to myself, so I decided to whip out an outfit for little miss to wear on the fourth. I didn't have a pattern, so I was so glad that it turned out!
Note the layered butterfly sleeve :)

You too can be both patriotic and stylish- although I wouldn't recommend wearing navy bloomers.

Southern Idaho

Herriman State Park, the Henry's Fork

With Nicolden in Idaho now, we've been able to hang out a few times with them. Southern Idaho has some beautiful areas we like to visit- some we still need to see.

This is Nicolden's new home. Isn't is beautiful?! We came up for a day to help with some painting.
You do the best you can when you're 5'4" :)

Lately

Tanner got scheduled a few days off in a row, so we ran down to Cedar to see my adorable new niece. While there, we decided to visit one of our favorite spots. The visit really made me miss Cedar City!

My Grandma LaPreal's headstone is right across from my in-law's home, so we were able to visit on Memorial Day. The whole cemetery was decorated beautifully. It was so nice to be there.

Tanner's work has been sending him all over the place. Now that school's out, the boys and I just hop in and go along with him! We've found a couple treasures in Idaho, and man it is always windy!
