Fall, leaves, fall!

This weekend Tanner's parents made a visit to see us. We had a great weekend and found there were a few things that made our time together a great one:

1. Raining weather on both Friday and Saturday and then beautiful weather on Sunday (when everyone goes home)
2. Hiking in the woods where we found some beautiful fall leaves and a couple of moose!
3. Teasing Carrie every few minutes after spotting the moose that they would eat her.

Mom and I also went garage saling where we found tons of treasures. Mom loves this time of year and after this weekend I can see why:

These pictures are each a week apart. It is the place where we hiked and saw the moose. We love visiting that place...we're gonna miss all those leaves.

I think I can honestly say that I am addicted to yard saling. But dang, the deals are unbeatable. I sometimes have to force myself to keep driving when I see the signs.

Did you take those pictures of Cherry Springs? One week apart- that is unbelievable. I'm glad Carrie escaped from those moose. Close one.

Isn't it freezing in Pokey? It's been raining the last 3 days here in Cedar, and I can already tell it's going to be a long winter. We've already had to stock up our wood stove twice!

Since we were at Cherry Springs the lat three weeks we did take those pictures- pretty cool eh?

It is freezing here in Pokatello. Now begins wearing three layers of clothing everyday, all day.

Your parents are going to think Pocatello is all about rain! It seems like they have come up to visit every time (that is to say, both times) it has rained this year!

Nice pics by the way! I think I will steer clear of that area now. I wouldn't want to be gobbled by a carniverous moose!

Adam and I think it is cool that you all go for walks/hikes. It's one of our fav things to do as a family. A lot of good things happen when you are out walking in nature. Sounds cliche, but it's so true.
Have you ever heard people say that someone is so cute they could just eat them up? Liam is soooo cute I could just eat him up! That baby face--or at least those baby cheeks--are begging to be kissed.

True that!

I love fall! But now the cold weather is settl'n here in Orem, too, and it makes the middle of my back tense up. My chiropractor says I should avoid cold weather, so it looks like we'll be moving to Florida for the winter - doctor's orders!
