Liam's 4

Liam started off his birthday by checking off which breakfast we wanted on the birthday menu, followed by a nice shower. After his shower he stepped on the scale "to see if I'm 4." He wasn't. He was 36.

You can make a birthday special just by saying "birthday" in front of everything you do or say. Here Liam is painting with some birthday paints. (Not a drop of paint got on his paint shirt. He's meticulous and clean like Tanner :)

Liam wanted a super hero something or other, so I grabbed my small paintbrushes, a tub of white icing and some food coloring and went to work. These were so much fun to paint!

(We're getting really good at the self timer on our cameras)

Liam is a very thoughtful and smart boy. He always shows gratitude towards us, especially yesterday when we did so many fun things together. I am so grateful to have my little boys and I love them so much!

Sweet. Happy birthday dude!

I laughed when you told me Tanner dunks his Oreos in milk with a fork because he doesn't like to get his fingers dirty. I tried it and now it's the only way I eat my Oreos.

That is hilarious about the scale. Riley always gets on ours and says "oh 60 pounds" I really don't know were kids get these things. I wish we could have been there! Love you guys!!!

I can't believe how huge he looks in these (birthday) pictures. That (birthday) face of his with the awesome (birthday) cupcakes is killing me!

PS Dylan eats chips and Cheetos and the like with tongs so he doesn't have to touch them. And Gage washes his hands about 7 times throughout the course of dinner. Those Higginbotham boys!

What in the birthday cupcakes? (Holy cubcakes Batman!) Those are incredible. I don't think Tanner and Liam are the only meticulous ones in the family, judging by the artwork. :) My favorite is the Spiderman, with the superb usage of negative space. Well done!
