Our anniversary landed on family night this year, so we just grabbed the boys and took them along. We kept pretending to ignore them, but having a 3 year old by a raging river does kind of distract you...
When you're on a nature walk with boys, everything is a potential weapon or is about to be blown up.
I was down at Julian's level taking a picture of something when he fell and stood right in front of me. I quickly said "Say cheese!" and that was the picture I got. Bless his heart!
At the end of the trip and with the kids snoozing in the back I said to Tanner "Happy Tannerversary." He replied back just as fast with "Happy Anniverscarrie." We were totally meant to be.
