We were happy to be able to go to an impromptu get together with some of my brothers & sisters down in Utah. Activities included watching my little brother's choir, playing on a ginormous bouncy water toy, eating homemade snow cones, visiting a nearby canyon, and watching a snake eat a fish. Yuck!

Moose are Sweet

 Just wanted to share a few more pictures from our trip north to the Tetons & Yellowstone. First person to spy a moose in the pictures gets a candy bar.

String Lake

If you get a chance to visit the Teton National Park, this is a great place to stop. 

We happened upon it this place after a couple failed attempts to find somewhere less crowded, and it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the trip. Having the Tetons as a backdrop sets anything up for greatness. 

Lone Star Geyser, Yellowstone

We were so close to Yellowstone when we were at the Tetons, so we drove up the road a few miles and spent one day there. Almost the whole day was spent at this 5 mile hike that went to a secluded geyser. We loved being in the park but without the crowd.

We were almost finished with the hike when we heard a loud noise. Some passerby told us the geyser had just erupted, and it won't erupt for another three hours. We walked another 50 feet and we were there. Makes me laugh. So does Julian sitting in the stroller. A lot of walking for Mr. Jay-Jay. 

The Tetons

 Tanner and I decided to bite the bullet and camp a couple days for the kids. So much work and preparation to camp- we only hope the kids will have good memories from it.

After we mapped out a place we were happy to find a tent spot that overlooked Jackson Lake and the mighty Tetons. 

 Camping with a 1 yr old was a new experience for our family. River likes to put rocks in her mouth, so   one of us was on constant rock watch. 

 Tip: bring a blow up mattress and put it in your SUV for you and the baby to sleep in. No one will hear you, the bears won't eat you, and your neighbors will think your baby is the most adorable baby ever the following morning.
