Since Liam is our first kid and it was his first birthday we let him throw quite the party with quite the guests. Liam loves to play with Elliot and Riley and was so excited to see them come.
We decided to jumpstart the mess with this truck full of "dirt" (chocolate cake, chocolate icing, Oreo cookies, and chocolate pudding). It was my- I mean Liam's favorite part of the party.
Liam was so excited that he kept shouting and stuffing his face with chocolate goodness.

The chocolate cake was a good idea. It's important to see the huge mess Liam can create. It was fun singing the birthday song and watching him look around at all of us. We had a great time. Happy Birthday, Buddy!!

I think the yelling is because he's angry his cake wasn't served on that awesome cake platter. Give him 73 kisses from us.
That is the birthday cake that every one year old (27 year old) boy should have! Kudos for the awesome idea! Are you still polishing off that mound of chocolate heaven? And I really love the picture of Liam with his little buddies. He looks genuinely happy. What an awesome looking kid.

I couldn't believe it when I saw Liam. He looks like such a one year old especially with those white teeth! He's so cute!
